About Kelly Butler:
A San Diego Employment Lawyer for Employees
Big Firm Expertise. Small Firm Focus.
Fighting for Worker Rights in San Diego
After graduating from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, I spent the first part of my career defending employers. My clients were some of California's largest employers and most respected public institutions. I first worked at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, then at Quarles & Brady, two major national law firms. I learned employment law inside and out from the perspective of the employer.

I now use that experience and knowledge to fight exclusively for employees who have experienced injustice. I know how the other side thinks, and the strategies they employ.

I built this practice on a simple principle: hardworking employees deserve access to the best counsel available. My passion is leveling the playing field by taking on the "big guys" and protecting hardworking employees from some of the worst parts of our modern society.
My Life When I Am Not Fighting for Employee Rights
When I'm not in the office or the courtroom, you can usually find me:
(1) at a local coffee shop in San Diego, where I am usually drinking an iced oat milk latte;
(2) mountain biking (and hopefully not crashing); or
(3) refueling at one of San Diego’s many fantastic Italian restaurants (our favorite is Enoteca Adriano).
